The Client & The Challenge
Edwards Communities, a prominent property management firm, faced a pressing concern at their Camden Place Apartments in Dublin. The roofs on all twelve buildings were over twenty years old, untouched since their original construction in 2000. These aging roofs were becoming a significant liability, posing a risk to residents and the long-term value of the property.
The management needed a reliable, efficient roofing partner who could execute a large-scale, multi-building replacement project with minimal disruption to the hundreds of residents living in the community. The project required not just technical skill, but exceptional logistical coordination.

Our team presented a detailed approach for a full system replacement, including new architectural shingles, synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield, and all new flashing, vents, and soil pipes to ensure a modern, watertight system for every building.
Overcoming On-Site Challenges
Large-scale renovation projects often present unexpected hurdles. Our experienced crew skillfully navigated several challenges:
- Unexpected Layers: During the tear-off, we discovered two layers of old shingles, which required additional labor and disposal. Our team adjusted the timeline and managed the extra work efficiently without significant delays.
- Logistical Complexity: We operated in tight spaces with limited parking, carefully coordinating material delivery and debris removal to maintain access for residents and emergency vehicles.
- Complex Architecture: The team expertly removed and replaced the shingled roofs on buildings with numerous balconies, implementing rigorous safety protocols to protect residents and their property.
