What is the “R” value of the ABLE window?

the warranty?

This covers both labor and material and

Don’t most windows come with a lifetime
warranty?
- Yes, many replacement windows do
come with a lifetime warranty, but, that
warranty is material only…not labor!

replacement will start out at $2500. Of
course that can vary dramatically
depending on number and type. We are

- There is no minimum order, so we
will install just one window if
requested.

- Energy Star is an international
standard for energy efficient consumer

your windows fusion welded?
- Yes, and this provides superior
strength and aesthetics.
- What
colors are available?
- White, beige, and brown are
typically the most popular. Other colors
are available and can be discussed with
our estimator.

What are the benefits or new windows?
- The benefits of new windows are
increased energy efficiency/lowered
utility bills, comfort, ease of use and
cleaning, safety, and aesthetics.

be easily cleaned from inside your home.
- What is
“low-e”?
- Low e stands for low-emittance. Low
e is a special coating put on glass to
“invisibly” reflect the sun’s rays
assisting in blocking radiant heat
transfer. All ABLE windows are available
with low e.
- What is argon?
- Argon is a gas used to fill the
space between panes of glass in
efficient windows. Argon gas is denser
than oxygen and therefore offers
insulating qualities.
- What is
Krypton?
- Krypton is a gas used to fill the
space between panes of glass in
efficient windows. Krypton is denser
than oxygen and argon and therefore
offers superior insulating qualities
over both.

When is the best time to install new
windows?
- There really is no best time as ABLE
installs windows year round..

I have storm windows, will these stay?
- Storm windows are not needed with
our new windows and are generally
removed and are typically discarded at
time of new window installation.

Are the windows stock sizes or custom made?
- We never try to “just make something
fit” Every ABLE window is custom made to
the opening for a perfect fit every
time.

Will new windows eliminate carpet,
furniture, and drapery fading?
- Yes, Low e glass is designed to
eliminate or greatly reduce the amount
of damage associated with sun fade. All
ABLE windows are available with low e.

you accept credit cards?
- Yes, Visa, MasterCard, Discover

What is the “resale” value of new windows?
- According to Realtor Magazine, a
homeowner typically recoups 80% of their
investment when new windows are
installed. This does not recognize ease
of sale or cost cuts in utility bills.

If someone gets hurt on my property during
window replacement, can I get sued?
- Yes, that is why it is important to
hire a reputable company with proper
insurance. ABLE carries all necessary
insurance and bonding to protect you.

If the window company doesn’t pay the
material bill, could I be liable?
- Yes, you have to trust that the
window company pays the material bill
which often is not paid for until well
after you have paid for the work. A
supplier may be able to encumber your
property by placing a mechanics lien
against the title. This is a nightmare
expense best avoided. ABLE will provide
you with proof that you are safe from
that.
- Does
ABLE install doors?
- Yes, ABLE has an extensive list of
exterior doors to choose from. This
includes decorative front doors with
sidelights, to utility doors, to patio
sliding doors. We are happy to provide
options and pricing. ABLE uses open book
